MP3 files are due by January 2, 2012 and should be sent to Greg Riley, Jazz Coordinator. Jazz auditions will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Pittston HS beginning at 11:00 am.

Online Student Registration for Fests is now available for PMEA District 9 Band Fest which will be at Western Wayne on March 30, 2012, hosted by Maria Arneil The registration deadline is Friday, January 13, 2012. Please read the Letter to Directors from Maria.

For future reference, please do not delete students from your registration summary for a given festival or fest in order to register students for a different festival or fest. Simply add the students by going to "Register another student?" at the bottom of the summary page. All registered students for all ensembles must be kept in the database in order to facilitate the generation of invoices. Invoices can be generated for the following by signing in, going to the bottom of the summary page and using the appropriate link:

Wilkes University's Music Program offers Act 48 credit, undergraduate and graduate credit for participation in the Civic Band, String Ensemble, Flute Choir, University Chorus, or Jazz Ensemble. Civic Band, Chorus and Jazz Ensemble are three credit undergraduate or graduate level courses with specific requirements and fees. Act 48 credit is available without course registration. String and flute ensembles may be taken for 1 undergraduate credit or only for act 48 credit. For further information, contact Dr. Phil Simon, 570.408.4437.
